Charlotte is the proud cat cuddler, treat-giver, and human behind Cat Nip In. Based in Brighton, friends and family joke that if there’s a cat in the room, Charlotte will find it first.

She has had cats of her own in the past and is currently the guardian of Bear. She knows first-hand how much they become part of the family. Leaving them behind, even for a short trip, is something she has always found difficult and stressful. That understanding is at the heart of Cat Nip In because Charlotte knows just how important it is to feel reassured that your cat is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Before starting Cat Nip In, Charlotte worked as a primary school teacher. After long, sometimes chaotic days in the classroom, nothing made her happier than popping in to cat sit - swapping marking books for purrs and nose bops. Over the years, she has gained experience caring for cats across the North West, London, and the South East, and it quickly became clear that cats were her happy place. That’s when she decided to turn her passion into Cat Nip In.
